Simply superb. This 5-Star (self-rated) luxury resort joins a steadily increasing number of top-rated properties now on offer in Vanuatu. Unlike some of the other “Lodge-style” boutique properties we offer in Vanuatu, The Palm House is not a “single-use” resort where only guests from the same party enjoy the experience at any particular time, but here, you may encounter an exclusive number of like-minded guests from all over the world – all drawn here by the high standards on offer, the natural beauty of the location and the individual attention to individual dining preferences catered for by the resident chef.
A menu package for all guests is included in your villa’s room rate:

Alcohol is not included in the menu package, but a wide selection is available for purchase.
This is the perfect spot to relax and recharge – to do nothing but enjoy the quiet, natural surroundings or to explore the kilometres of beaches, the organic farmland, the walking trails, the beachfront swimming pool and the watersports equipment in the form of stand up paddle boards, kayaks and snorkelling gear provided for you to explore the bays and the reef.
If you are visiting Vanuatu for the first time, it may be worth considering splitting your stay between The Palm House and a property closer in to Port Vila or even on Santo Island, but if you are a repeat visitor to Vanuatu (and there are plenty falling into this category) you would be more than happy to spend all your time at The Palm House. "Our brand new luxury boutique resort is the newest property to be offered on the Vanuatu tourism market. Privately owned for the past 15 years, the resort has undergone extensive upgrading to welcome its first guests in June 2019.
As Vanuatu’s first Agro-tourism property, we proudly welcome visitors to our Tukutuk Ranch, with its 3,800 hectares of organic farmland. The resort itself, The Palm House Vanuatu, is situated on the pristine north-west coastline of Efate Island where guests are free to explore over 12kms of private beaches and reef. Our beautifully appointed villas boast private verandas with unrestricted views across the azure blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.
Our collection of menu options, ensures our guests share in a fine dining experience with our personal, inhouse chef utilizing much of the local produce sourced directly from our ranch. A true paddock to plate dining experience awaits.

Your Accommodation Options
The resort comprises a central lounge/dining room with 2 stand-alone villas extending out each side. All villas are tastefully furnished to a high standard. Each villa features air-conditioning plus a ceiling fan, a superior ensuite bathroom and a private veranda-deck provides superior ocean views.

Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed
Additional Bedding: No additional bedding is accommodated. (Please see note below under “Kids Policy” for information on the inclusion of cots for infants).
Getting to and from The Palm House Vanuatu
The Palm House Vanuatu exists in splendid isolation out on the coast, some 30 to 45 minutes north-west of Port Vila. Once you leave the sealed main circle-island road, depending on the season, the road out to the coast can be a little slow-going. However, once you arrive at the resort a real pleasure awaits.
Guests are met at the airport and transferred to and from the resort by resort vehicle. While staying at the resort, you are not cut off from the rest of Vanuatu as the personable managers at the resort are more than happy to organise day trips by vehicle or boat to other locations if required.
Kids Policy
Although The Palm House Vanuatu is primarily targeted at adult couples, families may be accepted on request. When space is available for families, children of all ages are welcome as guests. As all villas are limited to a maximum of 2 guests, all children aged over 2 years of age will be accommodated in additional villas and charged accordingly. Kindly note that The Palm House Vanuatu does not offer kids club facilities.
Little Kids Stay Free
One infant aged up to 2 years of age sharing with parents and sleeping in a cot in their parents’ room is accommodated free of charge
Check-in/Check Out
Official check-in and checkout times are:
Check-in: 2:00pm
Check-out: 11:00am
Early Check-in and Late Check-out
Day use and late checkout up to 5:00pm is subject to availability and is charged at a flat rate of 25,000 Vatu. This charge is payable direct to the resort by guests.
To guarantee immediate access to rooms when arriving prior to noon, accommodation should be booked and paid for the night prior to arrival.
To guarantee a late check-out accommodation should be reserved for an additional night.
Resort Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing
Cancellations made less than 14 days before scheduled arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the cost of services booked.
No Shows are treated as cancellations and charged accordingly.
Travel Insurance is recommended.
