OUR Thoughts on Villa Tea Tea, Moorea
This 180m2 villa is perched on the hillside overlooking the lagoon and the Pacific Ocean near the north-western corner of Moorea. This is now the “quiet” side of Moorea as, although in the past this region has hosted both Club Med Moorea and the InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa, both these resorts are now closed and the marvellous beaches and the picture-perfect lagoon are now mainly enjoyed by locals and the guests staying at the smaller, family-run properties which line the beaches.
In what was originally Legends Resort Moorea and is now known as “Legends Residence”, we offer 2 exceptional Holiday Home Villas – Villa Tea Tea and Villa Anuanua.
While the original restaurant at Legends is no longer open, the beautiful horizon swimming pool, tennis court and gym are still in operation and available for all residents and their guests to use and, especially during the days, you will often find that you are the only people using these facilities. Many villa owners, when not using their properties themselves, let their villas individually as holiday homes. Spread across 17 acres of gated land, Legends Residence comprises 47 spacious individual villas. The property offers wonderful views, and depending on their location within the complex, individual villas may provide views of Moorea’s rugged central mountains or of the lagoon and the coastal plain. In the vicinity of Legends Residence and the small locally-owned resorts you will find an interesting array of local restaurants, waterfront residential houses and Le Petit Village – the mini commercial centre for this region of Moorea.
Villa Tea Tea features a wrap-around veranda deck on its northern side. Set into this deck, guests enjoy a small private jacuzzi-style (unheated) pool and beside the pool there is a lovely private deck which is ideal for sunbathing, relaxing on the sun loungers placed there and dining in the villa’s flow-through inside/outside dining room. There is a wide sea view from this deck.
The lounge, dining and kitchen are mainly open plan and all flow out to the deck providing a feeling of space and tropical comfort. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped.
Staying at Villa Tea Tea, you are 5 minutes drive (30-minute walk) from Le Petit Village, a 2-minute drive away from Tiahura Supermarket, 30-minutes from Maharepa Village and the Moorea golf course and very handy to several stand-alone restaurants – the closest of which is Holy Steak, which is very handy to the main gate of the Legends Residence.
Choose Villa Tea Tea for the best of both worlds – a spacious private villa with a beautiful view and a range of facilities often only found in an international-style resort.

Recently closed, the InterContinental Moorea Resort and Spa is within easy walking distance of the entrance gate to Legends Residence.

Villa Tea Tea requires a minimum 2 nights stay year- round, with the exception of any stays which include 22 December to 03 January when the minimum stay requirement is 5 nights

The air-conditioned master bedroom, overlooks the small garden built into the hillside, has a private ensuite bathroom and dressing room.
Maximum occupancy is 2 guests, in 1 Queen Bed.
Bedroom 2:
The second (air-conditioned) bedroom also overlooks the small garden. Bedroom 2 shares a bathroom with the third bedroom.

Bedroom 3:
With magical views of the lagoon and sharing a bathroom with Bedroom 2, Bedroom 3 is naturally cooled by lagoon breezes.

Getting to and from Villa Tea Tea
Travelling from Papeete, guests are met at Moorea Airport or the Ferry Terminal by a representative of the home’s letting agent and either driven the 40-minute transfer to Villa Tea Tea, (30-minutes from Moorea’s airport) or, if a rental vehicle has been included in your package arrangements, the letting agent will show you the way to Villa Tea Tea, open the house and give you a guide of the services and facilities available.
We thoroughly recommend that you do arrange for us to organise a rental vehicle for the length of your stay as there is no reliable public transport on Moorea and you really don’t get to experience the full vibe of Moorea while enjoying the convenience of a Holiday Home stay if you are not fully mobile. Rental vehicles may be picked up and dropped off at the ferry terminal.

Property Booking & Cancellation Policies
To confirm a booking a 30% deposit is required once the
property has confirmed space is available.

be paid in full once the property has confirmed space

Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to check-in
date incur a cancellation fee of 7,160CFP.
Cancellations made between 30 and 45 days of scheduled
arrival incur a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the cost
of services booked.
Cancellations made within 30 days of scheduled arrival
incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the cost of
services booked.
No Shows are treated as cancellations and charged
accordingly.
