Matira Point, Bora Bora.

Your Accommodation Options
There are a total of 74 air-conditioned units at Maitai Polynesia. The Garden and Ocean View Rooms are separated from the Beach Bungalows and the Overwater Bungalows by the circle island road.  This may seem somewhat unusual, but we’ve found the road is no great imposition on your enjoyment of the Resort. Hotel Rooms have tiled floors and flat ceilings, while Bungalows have beautiful timber plank flooring and high, pitched ceilings. For those seeking a well-priced accommodation option while you enjoy Bora Bora we suggest you choose one of the Garden or Ocean View Hotel Rooms but if you are considering the stand-alone bungalow experience, please consider the individual Beach Bungalows which are another well-priced option.  

The Overwater Bungalows at Maitai Polynesia provide a great opportunity to experience this unique accommodation type without incurring the super-premium cost of the luxury, deep lagoon overwater bungalows offered at Bora Bora’s many superb five-star resorts.

Accommodation Options (In ascending order of tariff)
 Garden View Rooms: 
Garden View Rooms are nestled among fragrant gardens and a variety of exotic plant species along the mountainside. This French Polynesia accommodation is ideal if you come to Bora Bora on a limited budget, as you can enjoy quality facilities, a stay in complete privacy and spacious rooms without compromise.
Interconnecting room option offered.

Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults.
Bedding Configuration: 1 King Bed which may split into 2 Single beds
Additional Bedding: A baby cot may be added in addition to maximum occupancy policy.

 Triple Garden View Rooms: 
Like the Garden Rooms and also located on the ground floor of the hotel blocks, the 4 Triple Garden Rooms are a little bigger and are equipped with 2 Sofa Beds which allows a third guest to stay.

Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults or 2 Adults & 1 Child aged under 15 years
Bedding Configuration:  King Bed which may be split into 2 Single Beds plus  a Sofa Bed.

Ocean View Rooms: 
The 16 Ocean View Rooms are in 2/3 storey blocks on slightly higher ground providing extensive views out over the ocean. Ocean View Rooms are 27m² and each has a 7.5m² outdoor terrace.  Interconnecting rooms are offered.  Four rooms are designated Triple Ocean View Rooms, these are a little bigger (31m²) and have a sofa bed for a third adult or a child.

 Beach Bungalows:
Beach bungalows are spacious, located on the seashore and well furnished. Natural materials such as pandanus for roofs, woven bamboo and rare and exotic woods are used to complement the style Polynesian-based shells, pearls and wood, thus creating a warm atmosphere. Directly on the beach, the transparent beauty of the lagoon is at your feet.

 Overwater Bungalows:
The Overwater Bungalows are equipped with a glass coffee table for you to admire the underwater world just below your feet in a natural aquarium, filled with tropical fish, curious rays and other fascinating marine creatures passing by.
Free Wifi access is included in Overwater Bungalows.

End of Pontoon Overwater Bungalows:
If you seek a romantic bungalow for your stay on Bora Bora, and want to be as close as possible to the lagoon, theese End of Pontoon Overwater Bungalows will meet your expectations.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults or 2 Adults & 1 Child aged under 15 years
Bedding Configuration: 1 King Bed and a Sofa Bed
Additional Bedding: A baby cot may be added in addition to maximum occupancy policy.

Premium Overwater Bungalows:
From your private balcony, you have direct access to the crystal clear waters of the lagoon. The terrace with a wooden deck doubles the outdoor space of Standard overwater bungalows, to better enjoy the panorama with Bora Bora lagoon’s superb shades of blue.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults or 2 Adults & 1 Child aged under 15 years
Bedding Configuration: 1 King Bed and a Sofa Bed
Additional Bedding: A baby cot may be added in addition to maximum occupancy policy.

Getting to and from Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora
Prearranged by Our Specialists. From the airport, take the public ferry (cost included in the air fare) to Vaitape Town Pier. Maitai Polynesia meet the ferry and transfer guests on the 10-minute ride by Resort Shuttle vehicle to the hotel. The cost of the Resort Shuttle will be included in your holiday package arrangements.
 - Children aged 3 to 14 years travel at half price on transfers.
 - Children aged under 3 years travel free on transfers.

Maitai Polynesia is in a great location on the Bora Bora mainland.  From Maitai Polynesia it is an easy walk to a variety of restaurants, cafés and shops.  For those wishing to travel further around the main island taxis are readily available.  The hotel has a booking service for both traditional bicycles and electric bicycles which are an ideal way to get around on Bora Bora’s mainland.

The Hotel standard check-in and check-out times are as follows:
Check In Time: 2:00pm
Check Out Time: 11:00am
Early Check-in and Late Check-out
For guaranteed check-in prior to 2:00pm payment for the previous night is required
Late check-out to 6:00pm is charged at 50% of the nightly accommodation rate booked.
Late check-out after 6:00pm is charged at the full extra night room rate.
For early arrivals and late departures outside standard check-in and check-out times, the hotel provides its guests with public changing rooms which are equipped with a shower.
