Flying in you will arrive at Faa'a International Airport and the InterContinental Tahiti Resort is only 2 minutes away from the airport and 15 minutes from Papeete city centre. Flights tend to arrive and depart Tahiti late at night, so a full resort hotel so close to the airport is a good choice especially if you are only spending a day or two stop-over en route to or from Tahiti's other wonderful islands.
The hotel provides a full range of resort activities and facilities and a wide variety of room types. Feed and watch the marine life in the Lagoonarium, organise Scuba diving, play tennis, enjoy the Polynesian dance shows and the choice of restaurants, take in a Spa session, browse the boutiques, work out in the 24-hour fitness centre, take a bus into Papeete, or simply relax around the pool and sip a cocktail at the swim-up bar.

From these rooms you wake up on your first morning, draw back the curtains and the view across to Moorea is breathtakingly beautiful. Next, take a "Jet-lag" massage at the Spa and you are set up for a great holiday. On your first evening, make sure to be at the resort for an evening cocktail while you enjoy the marvellous sunset display over Moorea. Your Accommodation Options
There are 246 accommodation units on offer. They range from Standard Rooms in typical hotel blocks to over-water bungalows and suites.
The resort has a unique layout. Out front of the central block with its restaurants etc there is an enclosed beach and pool that joins up with 2 little islands (motus) just metres off the beach and in this area, there are 8 bungalows known as “Motu Suite Overwater Bungalows” and 1 large Overwater Villa Moorea View, all of which are built out over the water off the lagoon side of the motu islands. This motu area also provides private beaches and lawns and forms one side of the large, sheltered lagoon pool. Framing the resort from the road, the three storey hotel blocks are scattered throughout the grounds, with rooms offering garden views or lagoon views. On the furthest point of the Resort, which is known as “The Lotus Area”, there are 24 “Overwater Bungalows” built above and totally surrounded by the lagoon. Overwater Bungalows are accessed by boardwalks out over the lagoon.

Each Classic Room measures 26 square meters inside (279 square feet), and features a six-square-meter (65-square-foot) private terrace or balcony with seating for two. Traditional wooden furnishings and timber floors create a warm ambiance, while wide sliding glass doors let in incredible natural light.
This room type is available in several categories: Classic Rooms, Classic Garden View Rooms, with views of our vibrant tropical gardens, Classic Ocean View Rooms, featuring vistas of the lagoon and Classic Ocean & Moorea View Rooms with picturesque views of the ocean and Tahiti’s sister island, Moorea.

Premium Rooms are a popular choice for honeymooners. Premium Rooms are available in three categories: Premium Garden View Rooms, Premium Ocean View Rooms, and Premium Ocean & Moorea View Rooms.

Overwater Bungalows Motu Suite:
Eight 37-square-meter (398-square-foot) overwater bungalows built around our own private motu (islet) boast supreme views of the island of Moorea. The expansive 32-square-meter (344-square-foot) terrace drops off into the turquoise lagoon, beside the main pool and Lagoonarium

Overwater Bungalow Ocean View:
13 recently renovated Overwater Bungalows Ocean View measure 37 square meters (398 square feet), with 13.6-square-meter (146-square-foot) decks, and are adjacent to the Lotus infinity pool. Each features a separate lounge and bedroom.

Overwater Bungalows Moorea View:
Perched at the end of the pontoon, the two Overwater Bungalows with Moorea View offer idyllic direct access to the turquoise lagoon. From the 16.5-square-meter (177-square-foot) deck, take in wide panoramas of Tahiti’s sister island, Moorea, and awe-inspiring sunsets. At 37 square meters (398 square feet), the suites sit near the picturesque Lotus infinity pool and gourmet restaurant. With a fresh, modern take on Polynesian style, the air-conditioned bungalows feature a separate lounge and bedroom with a king-size bed. The deck is equipped with dining and lounge chairs for two, while the luxurious bathroom features a bathtub and a separate shower.

One Bedroom Suite Moorea View (Antares Suite):

Overwater Villa Moorea View:
For ultimate pampering book the 95-square-meter (1,023-square-foot) overwater villa, whose deck is as expansive as the views. With thatched walls, white linens and floor-to-ceiling windows, the bungalow’s charming tropical decor seduces guests into relaxation in the most secluded spot above the lagoon.

Check Out Time: 11:00am
Early Check-in and Late Check-out
Late check-out to 10:00pm is charged at 50% of the nightly accommodation rate booked.
Late check-out after 10:00pm is charged as an additional night.
The hotel provides its guests with transit rooms with individual showers for early arrivals and late departures.
