FOUR SEASONS RESORT BORA BORA
Motu Tehotu, Bora Bora, French Polynesia
OUR Thoughts on Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora
This a true 5 Star Resort in every respect. In keeping with the ‘Four Seasons” brand, everything about this resort is first class, so if you are seeking a top resort in a top location with eco credentials and superb service in a relaxed Polynesian context you should seriously consider Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora. The Overwater Bungalows and Beach Front Villas are right up there with the best you will find anywhere in the South Pacific; they are spacious, modern and discretely Tahitian in their presentation. Guests may order room service meals and have them delivered to their accommodation by electric cart anytime day or night, accommodation is normally serviced twice daily and one of the many amazing things about this place is that the staff will call you by name almost from the moment you arrive and that’s not bad for a resort with over 100 bungalows and villas.
The Resort facilities are superb from the restaurants, lounges and bars right through to the Spa, The state-of-the-art Fitness Centre and the Kids’ Club and the special Chill Island and Young Adults Centre. The Spa is amazing. Located right on the beachfront with every imaginable treatment and spa facility available and they have thought of everything right down to specific treatments for Teens.
Bora Bora is world famous for its lagoon activities such as swimming with sharks, jet-ski tours right around the lagoon etc and Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora has a superb concierge service which will efficiently organise activities like these and more. Of special significance is their beautiful Lagoon Sanctuary - an inner lagoon within the resort environment which boasts over 100 species of marine life and which is also a marine research centre. Snorkelling tours are held twice daily, one for adults and one for kids and guests are welcome to visit the sanctuary any time they please.
We’re impressed with the overall quest for excellence in guest experience to which this resort strives. They deliver this excellence without sacrificing the natural French Polynesian charm and friendliness of their staff and this results in a truly memorable experience for everyone staying here.

Your Accommodation Options
Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora comprises 107 accommodation suites comprising 100 Overwater Bungalows and 7 land-based Beach Villas. The Overwater Bungalows are spaced out along 2 curving “Y” shaped piers with the open ends of the ‘Y” furthest out into the deeper water of the lagoon. The Beach Villas are located on the land side of the southern overwater pier between the beach out front and the marvellous Lagoon Sanctuary behind.
Generally speaking, the more expensive Overwater Bungalows are located furthest out on the piers with views up or down the lagoon or over the lagoon to Mt Otemanu in the centre of Bora Bora. The Overwater Bungalows furthest out over the lagoon are approximately 300 metres off the land and those off the south pier are approximately 500 metres from the resort’s central facility. With the exception of the Pool Bungalows, all other Overwater Bungalows are the same standard and layout and have similar facilities – the price differential is due to their individual location on the lagoon and their outlook. Eight Overwater Bungalows have the added facility of a private plunge pool.
All accommodation units are truly 5 Star. Except for the 4 larger Otemanu Overwater Bungalows with plunge pool, which are a massive 146m2, every Overwater Bungalow is at least 100m2 in area and includes a separate bedroom and separate lounge room separated by a magnificent bathroom between the two rooms. All rooms including the bathroom open out to a thatch-roofed deck which contains an outdoor dining setting as well as sun-loungers. In the centre of the deck in front of the bathroom 5/6 steps lead down to a lower deck off which there is access to the lagoon waters. The bathroom features a double vanity, separate shower and toilet, but the major attraction is the large bath which is set right on the front of the bathroom and from which there are sweeping views for those taking a bath.
The 7 Beach Villa Estate units have either 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, each bedroom with a matching bathroom. Each of the Beach Villa Estate units feature a private swimming pool.
