OUR Thoughts on Ocean Breeze, 72 Queen Elizabeth Avenue, Norfolk Island
There is only one way to describe the outlook from Ocean Breeze and that’s “simply stunning”. This 4 Star property is located in the “Dress Circle” of Norfolk Island when it comes to the view from each cottage. Although access to the property is off Queen Elizabeth Drive, the cottages are built towards the back of the property, closer to Middlegate Road from where the land drops gently away to the escarpment above historic Kingston. This means the close-in outlook is over gently sloping fields dotted with Norfolk Island Pines and further out the stunning view is over the ocean with Philip Island at centre stage. There is also a view in the opposite direction and this one takes in Mt Pitt rising above the National Park – Ocean Breeze really is in a very good location.
For those travellers seeking a good standard of accommodation with sea views, Ocean Breeze is certainly able to deliver. Apart from the peaceful outlook to the sea and the mountains, 3 or 4 times a week, guests at Ocean Breeze also have a wonderful view of the arriving or departing aeroplanes as they fly low over Kingston en route to or from the airport. There is a very pleasant outdoor entertaining area with a BBQ for guests to use. There is also a tennis court. A separate transit lounge with ensuite bathroom is provided for the use of guests who have checked out and are waiting for a late departing flight and a very good conference facility which will seat up to 40 people.
The conference facilities are also an excellent venue for a large family gathering offering a central venue for meetings and/or meals. There are two separate buildings set up for this purpose, one is available with two long conference tables with seating, a 60-inch screen and, a small kitchen and a toilet.
There is a separate building housing two large BBQ’s for guests to use which can be enclosed for cooler or unsuitable weather, and another large outdoor table.
Ocean Breeze’ central location means it is a pleasant 400 metres walk to the Tennis Club and less than 500 metres walk to Baileys Restaurant at Governors Lodge, Annabelle’s Restaurant at The Colonial and Hilli’s Restaurant (adjacent to the Cyclorama). You are also very handy to town and Historic Kingston, both of which would only be a 5-minutes drive away.

Your Accommodation Options
There are 12, 50m² One Bedroom Ocean View Cottages at Ocean Breeze. All are "modern Norfolk Island" in style with tasteful pine panelling to compliment the light and muted painted walls. All have full kitchens with fridge/freezer, stove, hob and microwave for self-catering and a clothes washer. Heating is by gas heaters and there are ceiling fans for summer cooling. Each has a nice open-plan lounge/dining and kitchen area and separate bedroom. Cottages are all in duplex units (Two to a building with one wall joining) but are organised in such a way that all guests have privacy. Eery cottage has an outdoor furnished terrace.

Existing Bedding: 1 King double bed which can be split into 2 Single Beds for twin share.
Additional Bedding: A baby (under 2 years of age) in a cot may be added over and above the maximum occupancy allowance.
Getting To and From Ocean Breeze
Complimentary return airport transfers are provided.
A small 4-door rental car (from Borry’s Rentals) is included with all accommodation bookings at Ocean Breeze. Insurance with an excess of $2500, is included. However, if guests prefer, they may pay $10.00 a day to reduce the excess to $500. This payment is made direct to Borry’s Rentals.

Children of all ages are welcome all year.

Resort Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing
Cancellations or amendments made 7 days or less
prior to scheduled arrival incur a cancellation fee
equal to 100% of the services booked.
No Shows are treated as cancellations and charged
