Our thoughts on Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk
This is a great spot.  Embassy Suites is located in the virtual heart of the wonderful, revamped Beach Walk precinct and was completed in 2007. There are two 21-level towers joined by a beautiful open space – The Grand Lanai – on the resort’s 4^th floor.  The resort is in a block bounded by Beachwalk to the west, Kalia Road to the south and Lewers Road to the east and only separated from Waikiki Beach by the Outrigger Reef on the Beach Hotel on the other side of Kalia Road.  There is a short public walkway to the beach immediately in front of Embassy Suites and, of course, anyone is welcome to access the beach via the Reef on the Beach’s public lobby arcade. 

Embassy Suites by Hilton is an all-suites hotel with a total of 369 one and two bedroom suites.  As an all-suites hotel, Embassy Suites differs from a standard hotel in as much that here, guests still receive full hotel services and facilities while enjoying the space and convenience of a suite with a separate living room and separate bedroom as well as having the bonus of what Embassy Suites describe as “a micro kitchen” and that means you have a kitchen sink (called a wet bar), a small fridge, tea and coffee facilities as well as a microwave oven.  This micro kitchen is not designed for cooking a meal and crockery and cutlery are not provided, but it is very handy for heating up snacks, making hot drinks, keeping the wine cool, etc. As well as a micro kitchen there is a host of other facilities including an iron and ironing board. 

Firstly, there is the daily breakfast which is served beside the Grand Lanai.  This is no bare-bones continental breakfast but a full hot and cold buffet with a very good omelette station where the service is expert and quick.  There is even an Asian section with Miso Soup on tap! Fresh fruit is also a feature. Another inclusion is the daily evening manager’s reception which includes drinks, canapés and even live entertainment on some nights, (soft drinks are also provided).  Add in the high-speed wireless internet access in all suites, lobby and pool area, twice weekly yoga classes at the Grand Lanai, daily newspapers delivered to suites, in-suite coffee and tea supplies, 24 hour access to the Fitness Centre as well as 24 hour access to the Business Centre (very handy for printing out airline boarding passes!) and the total of all these inclusions makes the cost of staying here look pretty good value. 

As well as being handy to the beach, Embassy Suites is handy to the Waikiki Trolley and Kalakaua Avenue, Fort DeRussy Park, DFC Galleria and surrounded by excellent restaurants, cafés, quality bars and shops.  There is on-site valet parking as well as well-priced self-operated clothes washing/drying facilities.  The jewel in the crown of the facilities at Embassy Suites is the Grand Lanai which covers a huge space between the two towers and features a heated swimming pool, pool-side cocktails service as well as a whirlpool and plenty of sun-loungers.

Daily Resort Charge
Embassy Suites have a Daily Resort Charge includes amenities for you to enjoy during your stay and is compulsory, is automatically added to your room account and payable direct to the resort.
As the price and inclusions are subject to change, ask your Travel Advisor at time of booking for the most up to date cost and inclusions for the Resort Charge.

Minimum Stay Requirement:
There is a minimum 4 nights stay policy in force for stays including any dates within the period 22 December to 04 January.

Room Categories
 One Bedroom Standard Suites:
The 1 Bedroom Standard Suites are located on the first 6 accommodation floors of the Aloha Tower above the ground floor shops etc and on the 4^th floor of the Hula Tower which is the same level as the Grand Lanai.  This makes the Standard Suites a very good option for those guests not wanting to be too high up in either building, indeed, the Standard Suites on the 4^th floor of the Hula Tower feel like they are at ground level because these Suites open directly on to the Grand Lanai where you are certainly in the midst of the daily action and activities of the resort.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King or 2 Queen Beds plus a Queen-sized pull-out Sofa Bed in the lounge.
Additional Bedding:  A cot for a baby aged up to 2 years can be provided (included in room maximum).

 One Bedroom Waikiki City View Suites:
These Suites are located either in the top 12 floors of the Aloha Tower facing mainly west, north and east and on the 5^th to 8^th floors of the Hula Tower.  The views are towards the nearby resort towers on the city skyline.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King or 2 Queen Beds plus a Queen-sized pull-out Sofa Bed in the lounge.
Additional Bedding:  A cot for a baby aged up to 2 years can be provided (included in room maximum).

 One Bedroom Partial Ocean View Suites:
Partial Ocean View Suites are located on the mid floors of both towers and have a partial view of the ocean over the Grand Lanai and the recreation area of the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort beyond.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King or 2 Queen Beds plus a Queen-sized pull-out Sofa Bed in the lounge.
Additional Bedding:  A cot for a baby aged up to 2 years can be provided (included in room maximum).

 One Bedroom Ocean View Suites:
Located on the top four floors of the Aloha Tower and the middle-to-top floors of the Hula Tower, the 1 Bedroom Ocean View Suites provide a wider ocean view with less incursions in the view from surrounding buildings.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King or 2 Queen Beds plus a Queen-sized pull-out Sofa Bed in the lounge.
Additional Bedding:  A cot for a baby aged up to 2 years can be provided (included in room maximum)

Getting to and from Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk
We will provide a coach or private car arrival/departure transfer from/to Honolulu Airport to Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk as required/agreed.

Embassy Suites has a truly excellent location right in the heart of the new Beach Walk precinct.  Indeed, there is an escalator directly from the second floor restaurants and shops on Beach Walk to the Grand Lanai at Embassy Suites. From Embassy Suites it’s an easy walk to every part of Waikiki Beach.

Kids’ Policy
 Kids Stay Free
Children 17 years of age and under stay free if accommodated in existing bedding, sharing with at least 1 paying adult and subject to individual room category maximum occupancy policies.

Complimentary cots for infants under 2 years of age are provided.

Check-in/Check Out
The hotel advises that they will do all possible to accommodate guests arriving prior to 3:00pm but can only guarantee accommodation will be available immediately on arrival if accommodation has been booked and paid from the night prior to arrival.

Check Out Time: 11:00am
A late check-out to 6:00pm may be available at a charge of 50% of the room rate occupied. This facility can only be arranged once guests check-in and is payable direct to the hotel.
