OUR Thoughts on Six Senses Fiji, Malolo Island, Mamanuca Islands
For some years now, as we have travelled to and from the various island resorts in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands while checking out the various resorts we offer, we have watched a big development happening on the western coast of Malolo Island to the south of Malolo Island Resort and Tropica Island Resort & Spa. This development, Six Senses Fiji, is working brilliantly at bringing you the a new resort concept (for Fiji). In line with Fiji’s general move to develop more up-market properties, Six Senses Fiji, has added another dimension to Fiji’s top-end tourist properties.

Accommodation Categories

Hideaway Pool Villas:
Total indoor/outdoor space 110m2, Hideaway Pool Villas are located on the beach level, in the gardens back from the beach and offer garden views. The Villa is open-plan with the lounge area on the front overlooking the private plunge pool and the sleeping area is up 2 steps from the lounge. Outside there is a lovely, sheltered daybed, sun-loungers and a dining table around the pool. The Villa’s indoor/outdoor bathroom features a soaking tub.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed.
Additional Bedding: A Double Fold-out Divan in the lounge area.
Hideaway Pool Suites:
Total indoor/outdoor space 200m2, Hideaway Pool Suites are very similar to the Hideaway Pool Villas but offer more space and a sleeping area which may be sectioned off from the lounge by sliding doors.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed.
Additional Bedding: A Double Fold-out Divan in the lounge area.
Beachfront Pool Villas:
The same in every respect as the 110m2, Hideaway Pool Villas, but Beachfront Pool Villas are located right on the beach frontage. The Villa is open-plan with the lounge area on the front overlooking the private plunge pool and the sleeping area is up 2 steps from the lounge. Outside there is a lovely, sheltered daybed, sun-loungers and a dining table around the pool. The Villa’s indoor/outdoor bathroom features a soaking tub.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 guests
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed.
Additional Bedding: A Double Fold-out Divan in the lounge area.
2 Bedroom Hideaway Pool Suites:
Total indoor/outdoor space 310m2, Hideaway Pool Suites are a combination of a Hideaway Pool Villa and a Hideaway Pool Suite. Ideal for 2 coupes or 2 families as the combined tariff is at a discount to the individual cost of both units.
Maximum Occupancy: 7 guests
Existing Bedding: 2 King Beds.
Additional Bedding: A Double Fold-out Divan in each lounge area.
Residences
The 3-Bedroom Marina Pool Residence:
At 1975m2 (internal/external measurement) with a 98m2 swimming pool, the Marina Pool Residence can be enjoyed in a 3-bedroom layout. Large outside deck with BBQ, sunbeds, sunchairs and dining table, fully equipped kitchen, a breezy living area with huge opening bifold doors. Bathrooms feature both indoor and outdoor showers and a separate toilet.
Maximum Occupancy: 6 guests
Existing Bedding:
Bedroom 1. An Emperor Bed (bigger than a Super King)
Bedroom 2. A King Bed
Bedroom 3. A King Bed which splits into 2 Single Beds.
Additional Bedding: A Single Bed may be added.
4-Bedroom Ocean View Pool Residences
The 4-Bedroom Ocean View Pool Residences are located either at the edge of the resort or on the highest peaks of the property. Generally comprising a central pavilion plus bedroom pavilions off each side of the central facility. All pavilions face the expansive deck and the infinity swimming pool. Residences range from 1850m2

All Beachfront Pool Residences are stunningly located on a flat section of land right on the curve of the white-sand beach and with the marina behind. Residences range from 1672m2
Maximum Occupancy 4-Bedroom Pool Residence: 8 guests
Maximum Occupancy 5-Bedroom Pool Residence: 10 guests
Maximum Occupancy 6-Bedroom Pool Residence: 12 guests

Getting to and from Six Senses Fiji
We offer 3 options to facilitate arrivals and departures at Six Senses Fiji; Six Senses scheduled speedboats, Six Senses private speedboats and helicopter transfers. The resort operates a private marina and only their own speedboats are permitted to use the marina. This doesn’t impact the ability to make timely transfers as they have every eventuality covered. The Six Senses Speedboats are sturdy 11.5 metre Gulf Craft boats with twin 350HP 4-stroke outboards, a roof and roll-down side covers for passenger comfort.

Depart Port Denarau 7:30am 11:00am 2:30pm 6:00pm
Arrive Six Senses 8:15am 11:45am 3:15pm 6:45pm
Depart Six Senses 5:30am 8:30am 12:00pm 3:30pm
Arrive Port Denarau 6:15am 9:15am 12:45pm 4:15pm
Six Senses Private Speedboat Transfers:
Available for transfers 24 hours a day for up to 12 guests.
This becomes a more economical option when the party to transfer is more than 4 adults. Our Specialists will always utilise the most economical option for your booking.
Helicopter Transfers:
Available during daylight hours – the scenic crossing takes 10 minutes between Denarau or Nadi International Airport and Six Senses Fiji.
Inter-Island Transfers:
Inter Island transfers by private speedboat launch can be arranged through Our Specialists.

Nanny services are available on request for guests in Villas
Nanny services for 8 hours per day is included for guests in Residences.
Kids’ Meal Plan
Children aged 6 to 11 years
When guests take a meal plan option, children aged 6 to 11 years are charged at 50% of the adult meal plan price off the regular menu. This discount does not apply to the child menu.
Children aged up to 5 years
When guests take a meal plan option, children aged up to 5 years dine free from the child menu.Check-in/Check Out
