OUR thoughts on Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort
With 205 guest rooms plus 47 bures, Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort is a perfect size for a great holiday. It's big enough to offer a complete range of resort facilities and services, while retaining the atmosphere of a much more intimate resort. This intimacy has been achieved through its location on land sloping gently down to the beach and by placing the main accommodation blocks side by side in a row near the top of the rise on both sides of the Reception area. This arrangement leaves most the land area of the resort for intimate groups of bures, no less than 7 restaurants, lounges and bars and the many pools and activity areas, all of which are surrounded by lovely mature palms and beautifully maintained tropical gardens and lawns.
The Outrigger is located 80kms (around a 1-hour scenic drive) from Nadi International Airport and only 5km from Sigatoka Town. It is surrounded by places of interest, but we have found that once you get unpacked and settled in, you really don't feel the need to leave to go anywhere else. However, if you do feel like the odd change of scenery while you are staying at The Outrigger, just wander down the beach a short way and you come across a delightful little village-like grouping of beachside cafes, the odd bar and a craft market or two along the way.
Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort is a premier destination for families and has an enormous range of family facilities, services and special offers for kids of all ages from babies to teens. As well as their world-class family facilities, you have got to be impressed by the professional way this resort has happily managed to cater just as well to singles and couples with their new adults-only pool and bistro complex named "Vahavu", which features a 20-metre lap-pool and a 35-metre lagoon pool and a swim-up bar as well as a bistro. The area was developed following feedback from couples who wanted a quieter environment than that offered at the main pool. The bistro offers tapas plates, casual meals with a selection of sides, dessert and coffee with full pool-side service as well as indoor or lounge seating. The resort’s Ivi Restaurant (opens for dinner) is also reserved for adult dining only.
With the exception of those guests staying in the Resort View Rooms, everyone receives complimentary "Talai Butler Service" which includes sparkling wine and canapés delivered to their room every afternoon.

Your Room, Bure & Suite Options
You will arrive at the resort reception at the top of the resort. There are two 4-level blocks on each side of Reception and these blocks contain the Resort View Rooms, the Ocean View Rooms and the One and Two Bedroom Suites. Resort Rooms are also found down at the beachside in one 3-level beachside block which is named the “Lagoon Wing”. The 47 bures are located in clusters down the gentle slope to the beach. The bures closest to the Reception area are known as “Plantation Bures” and “Plantation Family Bures”. The Beachfront Bures are virtually on the beach and the Ocean Breeze Bures are located in the gardens, close to the Beachfront Bures.

Resort View Rooms:
All Resort View Rooms are 47m2 in area and are located on the ground floor of every Guest Room block (including the Lagoon Wing which is closer to the beach) as well as on the first two floors of the Guest Room blocks at the top of the resort. There is generally no sea view from these rooms but there is a pleasant view of the Resort and the tropical gardens. Interconnecting rooms are available.
Resort View Rooms 1 King:
Maximum Occupancy: 3 Adults or

Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed and a Double fold-out Sofa Bed
Resort View Rooms 2 Doubles:

Located on the floors above the Resort View Rooms, Ocean View Rooms are 47m2 in area and every room has a pleasant view over the resort to the ocean. Interconnecting rooms are available.
Ocean View Rooms 1 King:

Premium Ocean View King Rooms are 34m2 in area, located in the very heart of the resort, these newly renovated rooms feature a contemporary design and stunning ocean views.

These Bures are 50m2 in area and located within the tropical gardens between the main guest room blocks and the swimming pool complex. There is a hammock outside every Bure.

The 50m2 Beachfront Bures are very special, right on the beach frontage with uninterrupted views over the beach and the ocean.

Located in the top hotel blocks and made available by adding an interconnecting Ocean View Room to a One Bedroom Suite. The result is a 134m2 Two Bedroom Family Suite which comes complete with butler service.
Maximum Occupancy: 6 Adults or 4 Adults & 5 Children aged up to 16 years.
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed, 1 Double fold-out Sofa Bed, 2 Double Beds plus a Single Divan Bed

These large 116m2 bures are located alongside the Plantation Bures and feature 2 bedrooms and a living room. Interconnecting bures are available.

Getting to and from Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort
We will normally include coach or private car arrival/departure transfers as required/agreed between Nadi International Airport and The Outrigger in package arrangements.
The direct transit time by private car is 60 minutes – a coach or minibus may take longer depending on the number of stops it may make along the way.
Options:
Helicopter transfers can be arranged to and/or from Nadi International Airport as well as between Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort and selected mainland and island resorts.
Families & Kids
Children under 13 years of age stay free when sharing the same room as their parents or supervising adults when utilising existing bedding.
Conditions:
- Valid year-round
- Please refer to individual accommodation categories for
the maximum number of adults and children permitted in
each accommodation type utilising existing bedding.
- Valid for any length of stay
When sharing a room with their parents or supervising adults, up to 2 children under 13 years of age eat all meals free. Families staying in Plantation Family Bures and Two-Bedroom Family Suites qualify for up to 4 children to eat free.
Conditions:
- Subject to adults and children staying a minimum of 4
consecutive nights
- Valid only for children aged under 13 years utilising
existing bedding in accommodation.
- Breakfast is from the main resort buffet breakfast.
- Room Service meals are excluded.
Free Kids’ Club
Outrigger Fiji has a unique two-tiered Kids’ Club with activities tailored to 2 specific age groups
The Little Riggers program designed for kids 3 to 7 years.
The Beach Riggers program for kids 8 to 12 years.
Both programs are free of charge to resort guests.
Meimei (Nanny) Service:
The Outrigger Fiji's wonderful Nanny Service is an extra charge service and needs to be booked in advance. Our Specialists are only too pleased to discuss costs and organise a booking for you.
Conditions:
- Valid for families staying a minimum of 4 consecutive
nights
- Available for children aged from 6 months to 12 years
- Nannies work up to 8 hours per day between 9:00am
and 10:00pm daily.
- Nanny service is only available if taken for a minimum
of 4 consecutive days.
Child Minding and Baby Sitting
Child-minding and babysitting are also available – fees are applicable.

Hotel standard check-in and check-out times:
Check In Time: 3:00pm
Check Out Time: 11:00am
Luggage storage is available for guests arriving before standard check-in time and for those departing after having checked out of their accommodation.
Early Check-in and Late check-out and Day Use Room
Day use rooms will be charged at an hourly rate between 11:00am and 6:00pm subject to availability.
