OUR Thoughts on Likuliku Lagoon Resort, Malolo Island, Mamanuca Islands, Fiji
Over-Water Bungalows (Bures) off an island resort in Fiji?  Yes, at Likuliku Lagoon Resort.  As if that’s not enough to set this remarkable place apart from the other island resorts in Fiji, they also have a “no kids” policy all year round, making this a guaranteed holiday sanctuary for adults. Likuliku is a perfect spot for honeymoons and it’s also ideal for relaxation, unwinding and stress-busting for adult couples and singles of all ages – 17 years or over!

At Likuliku Lagoon Resort, all meals are included in the tariff and excellent meals they are too.  Ask anyone who has stayed at Likuliku and they’ll first tell you about the wonderful meals, then how great the bures, the resort facilities and the staff are. There are only 45 bures at Likuliku, so staff members soon get to know your name and you, theirs.

The Resort’s Fijiana Restaurant is in a beautiful, high, Fiji-style, cathedral-ceilinged building.  There are both indoor dining and terrace outdoor dining options.  All meals are served in the Fijiana Restaurant except for one night a week, when a Fijian dinner feast and Fijian entertainment is provided out under the stars. The restaurant serves a la carte dinners 5 nights a week. On Fridays, guests enjoy an end of week cocktail party where you meet the management and staff followed by a traditional Fijian Feast and Meke performance.  On Sunday nights guests are treated to a Fijian Lovo and South Pacific BBQ Evening featuring food cooked in a Lovo (underground oven), salads and seafood and meats cooked on the BBQ alongside grilled vegetables. Breakfasts are a feature with the option of fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies as part of the Continental Breakfast offering, but a full a la carte cooked breakfast is also offered.  Lunches at Likuliku Lagoon are amazing.  Enjoy lunches out on the terrace, and what amazing lunches they are too – light, tasty portions of a perfect size for a tropical lunch and splendid precursor to an afternoon of action or relaxation.

From the arrivals island jetty on the beautiful little Masima Island with its intimate bar, arriving guests are escorted to the Dua Tale Lounge Bar and the Isa Lei Guest Lounge off which there is a private function room, Wine Cellar and Boutique.  Everything is top quality at Likuliku Lagoon Resort where you will enjoy the Activities Bure, guest gymnasium, the Tatadra Spa as well as the Resort’s Horizon Pool which is a work of art meandering gently within its beachfront location creating many private nooks where several Jacuzzi areas provide private relaxation.

Room Categories (In ascending order of tariff)

Bullet Beachfront Bures:
Beachfront Bures have wide lagoon views. All have thatched roofs, polished wooden floors, high cathedral ceilings, an excellent balance between modern light and bright and traditional Fijian décor.  All on one level, the bure interiors are 55m2 in size.  The bathrooms are huge and feature separate shower and toilet and 2 separate vanities (one on each side), but the feature is the15m2, walled courtyard containing a romantic outdoor courtyard shower which is accessed through bi-folding doors off the internal bathroom. Out the front, facing a tropical lawn which leads down to the beach, there is a large 19m2 deck and joined, but off to the side of the deck, a separate thatched bure which houses a shaded, relaxing 6m2 day bed.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed – There is a limited option to unzip some beds to provide 2 Singles.
Additional Bedding:  No additional bedding accommodated.

Bullet Deluxe Beachfront Bures:
Similar in most details to the Beachfront Bures, but with a little extra space. The living area is separated slightly from the sleeping area by being stepped down 2 steps. The internal area is 57m2 and the deck is 22m2. The private courtyard off the bathroom is there of course and so is the daybed retreat. Opposite the daybed retreat on the bigger deck is a private plunge pool.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed - There is a limited option to unzip some beds to provide 2 Singles.
Additional Bedding:  No additional bedding accommodated.

Bullet Over-Water Bures:
Similar in décor to Deluxe Beachfront bures but quite different in layout. As you enter the entrance lobby, the Guest Bedroom is a separate room off to your right and the Bathing Pavilion complete with a bath, is a separate room off to your left. Ahead there is a covered portion of the deck with sun loungers. The interior dimensions are 60m2 and there is a total of 31m2 decking which is screened on the side for privacy between the Bures.  The view from the deck is breathtakingly beautiful. There is a small lower deck which provides ladder access to the lagoon.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed - There is a limited option to unzip some beds to provide 2 Singles.
Additional Bedding:  No additional bedding accommodated.

Getting to and from Likuliku Lagoon Resort

Transfer from Nadi International Airport to Port Denarau Marina by coach or private vehicle to connect to your boat transfer on South Sea Cruises high-speed catamaran from Port Denarau Marina.
