OUR Thoughts on Te Manava Luxury Villas and Spa, Muri Beach, Rarotonga.
Set on the beautiful white sand beach of Rarotonga’s stunning Muri lagoon, your private villa awaits. Designed for those who appreciate beautiful, natural surroundings, 5-star self-contained accommodation and independence. Each luxurious villa includes a full gourmet kitchen, laundry facilities and an individual pool. Ideal for discerning travellers who desire the freedom to be self-sufficient while still experiencing the quality of high-end accommodation. For guests staying at Te Manava, it is a mere 15-minute walk to Muri Village and its Restaurants, cafés, food-markets and the Night Market etc., there is also a block of shops/services just across the road from Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa. The complex includes a local bakery, general store, liquor store, restaurant, bar, coffee cart and a gym.

Your Accommodation Options
As you enter Te Manava Luxury Villas and Spa from the round-island road and pass the Concierge Villa, the two villas on your left of the driveway are the 3 bedroom Standard Pool Villas.
The driveway widens out as you pass the stand-alone Spa building and directly ahead of you is the 3 bedroom Presidential Beachfront Villa and to the right there are two, 2 bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villas. There is a 3 Bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villa on the left-hand boundary of the Resort.
A separate building on the beachfront houses the 3 Beachfront Villa Suites and the land-side of this building is the location of the 2 Pool Villa Suites and the 2 Bedroom Ultimate Pool Villa, all of which face inward towards their individual pool courtyards.
At Te Manava, a “Villa Suite” is open-plan and either on the beach front with beach views (Beachfront Villa Suite) or inward-facing into their private courtyard pool area (Pool Villa Suite).
A “Villa” will have 1, 2 or 3 separate bedrooms – “Beach” Villas promise a beachfront location, “Pool” Villas are inward facing to their respective private courtyard pools.
Minimum Stay Policy
There is a minimum 3 consecutive nights stay policy at Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa.
Accommodation Categories (In ascending order of tariff)
Pool Villa Suites:
Both Pool Villa Suites offer perfect privacy. These 87m2 villas have an open-plan layout. The kitchen is not in a separate room, but cannot be seen from the sleeping area. The living area contains either a dining table and chairs or a sit-up servery as well as 2 lounge chairs and a coffee table. The room opens to the private courtyard and private pool via wide sliding glass doors. The courtyard contains a quality BBQ, 2 sun-loungers and a lovely little private swimming pool.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 Super King Bed
Additional Bedding: A baby cot may be added
Beachfront Villa Suites:
At 100m2 in area, each of the three Beachfront Villa Suites feature a large open-plan space. These Villa Suites all have high ceilings, a separate kitchen area and very generous sleeping and living areas. The living area includes a desk and chair and 2 lounge chairs plus coffee table and there is still plenty of space besides. The living area opens up to a sizeable beachfront deck which contains a private swimming pool, 2 sun-loungers and BBQ. Each is high-screened from its neighbours.

Ultimate Pool Villas – 2 Bedrooms:
Added in 2014, Ultimate Pol Villas are 450m2 in area with 2 bedrooms, each separated from each other by the living room/kitchen. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, the second bathroom being immediately beside the second bedroom with direct access via the kitchen area. Both bedrooms open directly to both the lounge on one side and the courtyard on the other. These Villa Suites all have high ceilings, a separate kitchen area and very generous sleeping and living areas. The living area includes a desk and chair and 2 lounge chairs plus coffee table and there is still plenty of space besides. The living area opens up to a sizeable beachfront deck which contains a private swimming pool, 2 sun-loungers and BBQ.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 Adults
Existing Bedding: 1 Super King Bed in the main bedroom and 1 Super King Bed in the second bedroom. Either or both the Super King Beds can be unzipped into 2 King Single Beds (total 4 Single Beds) which makes this accommodation type ideal for 4 friends sharing.
Additional Bedding: A baby cot may be added
Standard Pool Villas – 3 Bedrooms:
Not quite as luxuriously appointed as the Ultimate Beachfront Villas, but still very good indeed. These villas, which are closer to the round-island road, are both a total of 475m2 in size, with 100m2 of internal living space on the ground floor and 55m2 (including the balcony) on the first floor. The first floor is taken up entirely by the master bedroom and its ensuite bathroom. The ground floor is presented in the modern design where the beautiful kitchen is the focal point and the lounge and dining areas emanate out from there. Almost right around, the living area can be opened up to the courtyard which contains a swimming pool, sun-loungers and BBQ. The 2 full-size bedrooms on the ground floor share a bathroom. A separate laundry and an exclusive parking area completes the picture. These villas are not on the beach, but the beach is very close.
Maximum Occupancy: 6 Guests
Existing Bedding: A Super King Bed in each bedroom, Options include 2 Super Kings and 2 Singles or 1 Super King and 4 Singles.
Additional Bedding: A baby cot may be added in addition to the 6 guest room maximum.
Ultimate Beachfront Villas - 1 Bedroom
Ultimate Beachfront Villas - 2 Bedrooms:
The design of these superb single-level villas makes them suitable for 2 couples sharing or for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. They are also a fantastic option for 1 couple who may be looking for additional personal space as the 2nd bedroom and 2nd bathroom, which is located across the private garden courtyard from the main bedroom and the living rooms, can be locked off. At 272m2 (230m2 when configured as a 1 Bedroom Villa), the 2-Bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villas provide plenty of space, no matter how they are configured. The main bedroom is separate from the lounge and the fantastic kitchen area. There are extensive decks and 4 sun-loungers, outdoor dining table for 4, private BBQ and stepped decking down to the beach.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 Guests
Existing Bedding: A Super King Beds in both bedrooms – The Super King Bed in the second bedroom may be unzipped into 2 King Single Beds if required.
Additional Bedding: A baby cot may be added in addition to the 4 guest room maximum.
In 1 Bedroom configuration the maximum occupancy is 2 guests and existing bedding is 1 Super King Bed or 2 Single Beds.
The Ultimate Beachfront Villa - 3 Bedrooms:
At 372m2 in area, all on the ground floor, the 3 bedroom Ultimate Beachfront Villa is a wonderful option for an extended family or a group of friends. As well as the superb kitchen and the large lounge and dining area which opens one way out to the courtyard, pool and BBQ and the other out to the beachfront, there is another deck which is almost right on the beach on which there is a second outdoor dining setting. There are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the second and third bedrooms share a second bathroom. The third bedroom is a little smaller than the other two bedrooms.
Maximum Occupancy: 6 Guests
Existing Bedding: A Super King Bed in each bedroom, any or all of which can be converted to 2 Single Beds if required. Options available: 2 Super Kings and 2 Singles, 1 Super King and 4 Singles or 6 Singles.
Additional Bedding: A baby cot may be added in addition to the 6 guest room maximum.
The Presidential Beachfront Villa - 3 Bedrooms:
WOW! With a total area of 560m2, the Presidential Beachfront Villa has 138m2 of internal living space on the ground floor and 64m2 on the first floor. The master bedroom and its massive ensuite bathroom occupy the entire first floor. There are 2 other bedrooms on the ground floor which share a bathroom. There is a private garage for 2 cars (the laundry is also in the garage). The huge courtyard contains a meandering swimming pool, sun-lounges, BBQ and outdoor dining setting for 6 people. The entire living area, which includes a beautiful, modern kitchen, lounge and dining (for 8) can be opened up to the courtyard on one side and the deck and the lagoon and the ocean on the other side. In addition, there is a covered outdoor lounge area facing the beach and the lagoon.
Maximum Occupancy: 6 guests
Existing Bedding: Options are: A Super King Bed in each bedroom, 2 Super Kings and 2 Singles or 1 Super King and 4 Singles.
Additional Bedding: A baby cot may be added in addition to the 6 guest room maximum.
Getting to and from Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa
We will provide a coach or private car arrival/departure transfer between Rarotonga International Airport and Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa as required/agreed in package arrangements.
Getting Around
● Free Transfer Shuttle to & from Pacific Resort Rarotonga:A complimentary shuttle is available for guests purchasing breakfast, lunch or dinner at Pacific Resort Rarotonga.
● It is an easy and pleasant walk either down the beach or along the road to the Muri Village area where you will find a selection of food outlets and other tourist facilities.
● The Round Island buses stop on demand.
Families & Kids
Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa have a flat rate tariff for each villa type. This means that there is one price per villa type and this includes as many guests as shown under "maximum occupancy" for each villa option, irrespective of whether guests are all adults or a family group including children.
A baby cot can be added at a nightly charge of $25. A baby in a cot/crib is allowed in addition to the room maximum occupancy allowance.
Kids Play Free
Kids of all ages are welcome to use the facilities of the sister property - Pacific Resort Rarotonga, which is located just an easy stroll along Muri Beach or by taking the complimentary shuttle provided. Use of the Pacific Kids’ Club is complimentary to all children staying at Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa.
Kids Club at Pacific Resort
Unaccompanied kids aged 6 to 12 years are welcome; children aged under 6 years are also welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The Kids Club operates daily 9:30am to 4:00pm

Babysitting is available to guests on request.

Early check-in and late check-out may be requested but will always be subject to availability once guests have arrived at the hotel.
Guests' luggage can be stored in the event that early check-in or alate check-out is not available
To guarantee an early check-in or a late check-out, guests are recommended to pre-book the night before arrival and/or the night post departure.
Early Arriving Flights
We recommend that all guests arriving prior to 6:00am should book and pay for their room from the night before to guarantee access to their room at the time they arrive. Not doing this could result in a wait of around 12 hours to gain entry to your accommodation.
