OUR Thoughts on Tamanu Beach, Aitutaki.

Improvements continue to be made throughout the resort, both in terms of facilities and services. Tamanu Beach Resort's Day Spa is now up and running again and the lobby bar is proving popular with guests, especially on arrival and as a place to grab a coffee or cool drink while they prepare to head out for the day.

ADULTS-ONLY ACCOMMODATION - PUROTU WING
Garden Bungalows:
Lagoonview Bungalows:
These bungalows are 50m2 in total including a spacious veranda with day bed. Air-conditioned with ceiling fan, walk-in wardrobe with safe, iron and ironing board, each room also features a TV, a fridge, and tea and coffee facilities. Ensuite has showers for two, double vanity and spacious outdoor shower area. Each Bungalow is stepped back from its neighbour providing privacy to guests enjoying their individual bungalow’s veranda.
Guests in the Garden Bungalows get a filtered view of the lagoon immediately they step off their spacious veranda patio and start heading the short distance towards the beach. Guests in Lagoonview Bungalows enjoy a view of the lagoon from their veranda patio.

Beachfront Bungalow:
A beautiful bungalow right on the beach frontage.

Tamanu Beachfront Villa:
A beautiful big beachside Villa in an elevated position, designed specifically for couples to enjoy the good things of life while on holiday. Excellent views.

Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed which can be split into 2 Single Beds
Additional Bedding: No additional bedding accommodated.
FAMILY ACCOMMODATION - MANEA WING
One Bedroom Bungalows:
Double cavity doors separate the bedroom from the living area. Air-conditioned with ceiling fans, full wardrobe with safe, iron and ironing board, TV, fridge and tea and coffee facilities, plus ensuite. Popular day bed on the large covered veranda with dining table and chairs is ideal for your romantic dining experience. Very spacious (65m2) with high, open cathedral ceilings and a nice big veranda/patio. 30 metres back from the beach with filtered lagoon views from the veranda.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests - children now accepted.
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed or 2 Single Beds
Additional Bedding: 2 King Single Beds can be added to the lounge area
One Bedroom Beachfront Bungalows:
With the same layout and facilities as the One Bedroom Lagoonview Bungalows, the 3 Beachfront Bungalows are located on the beach front with wide ocean and lagoon views from the bed, lounge and veranda.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests - children now accepted.
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed or 2 Single Beds
Additional Bedding: 2 King Single Beds can be added to the lounge area
Getting to and from Tamanu Beach
Return domestic scheduled flights from Rarotonga to Aitutaki are required and we will include these in package arrangements as required/agreed.
Tamanu Beach include return Aitutaki Airport transfers for all their guests as well as a flower eis (garlands) on arrival and departure at the resort.
Kids Policy
One Bedroom Bungalows in the Manea Wing are designated "Family Accommodation" and cater for children of all ages. Only young people aged 12 years and over are accommodated in Purotu Wing bugalows and no children aged under 12 years are permitted to use the Purotu Wing swimming pool. Guests of all ages are welcome in the restaurant and central facility.
Tamanu Beach advise that, while they now welcome children in their Manea Wing 1 Bedroom bungalows and pool, they do not provide organised or supervised activities for children.
Check-in/Check Out
The hotel will make every effort to ensure your rooms are available at your time of check-in; however immediate occupation of your accommodation depends on your flight arrival time at Aitutaki.

Check Out Time: 10:00am
To guarantee early check-in or late check-out, the hotel charges a full extra night accommodation in both cases.
