There is a wide choice of activities at The Havannah, Vanuatu, from total relaxation to adventure sports. No matter what your ideal Vanuatu holiday entails, you will find it. From sunbathing on our shimmering white sand beach or on a daybed suspended over the lagoon pool, to the exhilarating rush of big game fishing on the famous Marlin Highway, the Havannah has it all.

Enjoy a leisurely kayak, sailing or snorkelling in the crystal clear water, or if you're a dive enthusiast explore the live coral and abundant fish varieties of Havannah harbour. For a cultural experience, there are tours of Chief Roimata's Domain, the South Pacific's most recently listed World Heritage site. The area was also a base for American Catalina flying boats during the War in the Pacific…plenty of relics to fossick for! A visit to The Cascades Waterfalls is an experience not to be missed, or why not take a day trip to a live active volcano on the island of Tanna. .....the resort also offers a daily shuttle service to Port Vila town.

Your Accommodation Options
The Resort comprises 17 villas.  The Waterfront Villas, (2 of which are Deluxe Waterfront Villas and 6 are Waterfront Villas), are scattered around the front of the resort and are so placed that none of them impinge on the beach views from other areas of the resort. There are 5 Lagoon Pool Villas front the Lagoon Pool and the 4 Garden Villas are handily located, approximately one row back behind the Lagoon Pool Villas. All villas are air-conditioned and have a ceiling fan plus extra touches such as flat screen TV, iron and ironing board and in-room safe. Full a-la-carte English breakfast is included in the nightly tariff and complimentary internet access is provided throughout the property including the Villas. Villas are contemporary Melanesian in style with thatched roof, ceramic tiled floor, high ceiling and light modern décor.

Minimum Stay Policy
There is a minimum stay policy of 2 consecutive nights at The Havannah except for travel 22 December to 09 January which requires a minimum 3 night stay.

Room Categories (In ascending order of tariff)
 Garden Villas:
The 4 Garden Villas are located furthest back from the beach, but still very handy to all facilities. Each features a private garden area. There is a nice big, thatched patio which houses a double-size day bed.
Maximum Occupancy:  2 Adults
Existing bedding: 1 King Bed (does not split into single beds).
Additional Bedding:  No additional bedding accommodated.

 Lagoon Pool Villas:
Located 5 to 6 metres from the upper pool, with each Villa having private access to the pool via a private sand beach area. The Villas have big double doors opening wide to a covered, paved patio which houses a huge double day bed. The patio runs straight out to a sand area on which there are 2 wooden sun-loungers and an occasional table.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults
Existing bedding: 1 King Bed (does not split into single beds).
Additional Bedding:  No additional bedding accommodated.

 Waterfront Villas:
These are big open-plan Villas located on both sides of the restaurant complex in an absolute beachfront position. The bedroom and bathroom area is raised up 3 steps above the lounge area which results in impressive views from the bed. The lounge features a double day bed as well as lounge furniture and an iPod docking station. Each Villa opens to a large veranda/patio which contains a private horizon plunge pool. Every Waterfront Villa has private direct beach access.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 Adults.
Existing bedding: 1 King Bed. In one Waterfront Villa, the King Bed splits into 2 Single Beds, in the second Waterfront Villa the King Bed does not split. 
Additional Bedding:  No additional bedding accommodated.

 Deluxe Waterfront Villas:
These big open-plan Villas face north to capture all-day sun as well as the sunrise.  The most recent additions to The Havannah, the 2 Deluxe Waterfront Villas are privately located in an absolute beachfront position, but also handy to the central complex. Similar in size and layout to the Waterfront Villas, the bedroom and bathroom area is raised up 2 steps above the lounge area resulting in superb views from throughout the room.  Each Deluxe Waterfront Villa has a nice big private horizon plunge pool half of which is shallow enough to hold a couple of sun-loungers standing in the water with only the wheels and legs being submerged.  The shallow end of the 4m x 7m pool ensures the pool water in this area is quickly warmed. The deeper end may be heated if required. There is a private walled courtyard (which contains a stand-alone bath and a lovely courtyard shower) off the modern double-vanity bathroom with walk-in shower.  The courtyard bath is under a thatched roofed structure which provides a person enjoying the bath a unique outdoor/indoor feeling while bathing. Guests in Deluxe Waterfront Villas enjoy an in-room iPod docking station.

There is extensive decking attached to Deluxe Waterfront Villas.  The outer waterfront deck, which is down 6 steps from the private pool cantilevers out and gives a feeling of floating above the harbour and the view.  From this waterfront deck, there is access to the beach below down 11-14 easy steps.  On the decking and in the gardens around the Villa and Pool there are two separate thatched roof gazebos, one of which provides shelter for an outdoor dining and lounging area with a BBQ so guests can enjoy a private meal cooked on the BBQ by a resort chef. The second thatch-roofed area, which is immediately behind the private pool, contains the signature Havannah swinging Day Bed.  There is a superb view over the Horizon Pool out to Havannah Harbour and its distant islands from the swinging day bed.

Getting To and From The Havannah
Return airport transfers by road are included in the tariff at The Havannah.  Guests arriving at Bauerfield Airport Efate will be met on arrival after clearing customs and immigration by The Havannah's own staff, provided a chilled towel and a chilled bottle of water, then transferred in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle directly to the resort. 

The Havannah provides 2 complimentary trips into Port Vila each day by Resort Shuttle Bus; the operation times may vary, but they are normally 10.00am and 3.00pm and these times are ideal for connections to the resort for guests staying in Port Vila before and/or after a stay at The Havannah.

Kids’ Policy
Only guests aged 16 years and older are accepted at The Havannah.

Check-in/Check Out
Standard check-in and check-out times are:
Check-In Time: 2:00pm
Check-Out Time: 11:00am
Early check-ins will only be accommodated if the
night previous to scheduled arrival date is booked
and paid for.
Late check-outs up to 6:00pm are subject to
availability on the day of departure and are charged at
50% of staying 1 night in the room category occupied.
