OUR Thoughts on Natura Beach Villas, Ara Tapu, Vaimaanga, Rarotonga
It is hard to imagine a more perfect location. The two Natura Beach Villas are located next door to each other on separate sections and both front an amazing beach and a beautiful natural lagoon across a beachfront lawn framed by mature coconut palms. Both Villas are quite different and have a different tariff structure. In both cases, the tariff includes a service with linen change and gardening every 3 days as well as the use of kayaks and snorkelling equipment, which guests of both villas share.

Natura Beach Villa 1
4 Bedroom House with Private Swimming Pool.
The house itself, with 4 bedrooms (plus a study which can convert to a compact-sized fifth bedroom), offers plenty of living space including a full-sized kitchen and a large lounge, but it’s the wide veranda running the length of the house which is the special feature. This veranda, with its outdoor lounge area, outdoor dining setting, BBQ and Day Bed, is so big, it’s almost like having a second house dedicated to outdoor living attached to the main house. The size of Natura Beach Villa 1 is 400m2.
Dining locations abound with an internal dining area (seats 10), a veranda setting (seats 10) and a garden picnic table right on the beach front.
The kitchen with its upright double-door fridge/freezer, cook-top, oven, microwave, full stock of pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware is fully equipped (it’s only missing a dishwasher) for cooking any meal. Wigmore’s Super Store (groceries, takeaway food and much more) is an easy flat walk only 500 metres along the road.
Natura Beach Villa 1 sleeps up to 10 people and with its 2 bathrooms, works equally well for 2 couples sharing a holiday while each couple retains personal space. At this villa, the tariff is set for a minimum 4 guests sharing (additional guests up to a total of 10 are charged at $50 per adult per night), so it also works well for an extended family or a group of friends sharing expenses and, when combined with Natura Beach Villa 2 next door can cater for a total of 16. For bigger groups of friends or bigger extended families, by combining both villas with Natura Beach Bungalow (located around 500 metres along the road), the three together can jointly cater for a group of 21 guests.

Bedroom - Large bedroom space with air conditioning and ceiling fan.

Bedroom - Large bedroom space with air conditioning and ceiling fan.

King Bedroom 4
Located on the mezzanine/top floor overlooking the lounge below and with a large window. This room is not air-conditioned but is in an excellent position to capture lagoon breezes and has a ceiling fan. It includes space for lounging furniture.
Existing Bedding: 1 King Bed which may be split into 2 Single Beds
Study
Another optional sleeping area best suited to children, the narrow study has a large bay window.
Existing Bedding: 2 Single Beds and best suited for children.
The Villa has 2 modern, tiled bathrooms, 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the mezzanine - both with showers.

3 Bedroom House with Private Swimming Pool
Natura Beach Villa 2 is an impressive addition to our Rarotonga Holiday Home range. At 300m2 Natura Beach Villa 2 features a large open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, laundry with tub, washing machine, dryer and clothes line, 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower and hairdryer, a large veranda with outdoor dining and private BBQ, a day bed and a private beachside swimming pool. The kitchen is equipped with stovetop oven, microwave, full-size fridge-freezer, dishwasher and filtered drinking water.
Natura Beach Villa 2 has a minimum 5-night stay policy.

General note re a holiday home stay.
Holiday homes are a very welcome addition to the accommodation options available on Rarotonga. Obviously, individual holiday homes offer widely differing standards and specifications as to what is included and the services which are available to guests taking this accommodation option. As a general rule, a holiday home is a private citizen’s private residence or holiday place and, unlike a stay at a resort, a manager or owner may not be available on-site. However, the owner (or an agent of the owner) may be available to sort out any problems or maintenance issues encountered (and visits by neighbours’ dogs and chickens!!) It is sensible to maintain a reasonable level of security and to keep up a personal insect repellent program. Through understanding what this accommodation style entails, a really enjoyable holiday can be had in a holiday home in Rarotonga.
Getting to and from Natura Beach Villas
Guests at both Natura Beach Villas enjoy a meet & greet on arrival with flower lei and return airport transfers are provided.
As previously mentioned, these properties are in a spectacular location being right on the beach and only 500 metres from Wigmore’s Super Store for groceries and supplies. Another feature of the location is the proximity to Palm Grove Resort and almost directly across the road from Palm Grove’s Yellow Hibiscus Restaurant – a very pleasant little beach-style restaurant known for its laid-back family-friendly service and well-priced food.
Natura Beach Villas are almost exactly half way around the island from Avarua (the main town), so, it’s approximately 16km to town either via Muri Lagoon (anti-clock-wise) one way or via Arorangi in the clock-wise direction, the Round-Island Bus runs both ways every hour during the day. By utilising the bus service to get around Rarotonga and due to there being a good grocery shop handy to the villas, it really isn’t necessary to hire a car when staying here.
Kids Policy
Children really enjoy the location and will spend hours on the beach and swimming and snorkelling in the lagoon.

Property Payment Policy
Full payment is required at least 60 days prior to scheduled arrival date.
