OUR Thoughts on Aitutaki Beach Villas
What a beaut little property – an ideal place for those seeking a wonderful Aitutaki beachfront holiday experience at only a fraction of the price of some of the more luxurious resorts which are located on the same stretch of beach. Aitutaki Beach Villas provide clean and comfortable villas with an ocean view from the veranda of each of its 4 units. There is a useful little kitchen with a full-sized fridge/freezer, a microwave oven, a 2-burner gas cook-top hob, electric kettle, a toaster and comes fully equipped with cookware, crockery and cutlery.  In many ways, staying at a place like Aitutaki Village gives you the “real Aitutaki” experience – no TV, no air-conditioning, no Wifi, no swimming pool (who needs a pool when you have the ultimate lagoon beach on your doorstep?) – but what you do get is a superb beach, a special Aitutaki island-style beach villa, excellent beds, a good hot shower and an engaging owner/manager who will meet you at the airport and drop by most days to see that you are comfortable and provide any assistance you may need to make your Aitutaki stay work perfectly for you personally.

At Aitutaki Beach Villas you relax. The beautiful tropical beach mornings beckon you to wander the beach, perhaps take an early morning dip in the lagoon, breakfast on your veranda and breathe the fresh air.  Days are spent relaxing or exploring this delightful island and its many beautiful sights and enjoyable excursions.  Walk, cycle, hire a vehicle or take your kayak out on to the lagoon – discover snorkelling in the clear lagoon waters. After a snooze in the afternoon, wander along the beach 100 metres to Tamanu Beach to enjoy a sunset drink and dinner at their beach bar and restaurant, or 200 metres to Pacific Resort Aitutaki to enjoy their more island-sophisticated terrace bar and restaurant.  There are several other dining options also within walking distance as well as the option of dining in on a home-cooked meal from your own kitchen or utilising the beach BBQ provided on-site.

At Aitutaki Beach Villas the sunsets can be spectacular and best enjoyed from your own veranda out front of each villa.

Give yourself enough time on Aitutaki to fully appreciate this remarkable island, a day or two doesn’t really cut it, that’s why Aitutaki Beach Villas have a minimum 3-night stay requirement for all their guests. Your Accommodation Options
The 4 villas at Aitutaki Beach Villas are all clean and comfortable.  Although not air-conditioned, each villa has a high, sloping cathedral ceiling with a ceiling fan supplemented by a standing fan.  Cooling flow-through ventilation comes from screened windows and each Villa is raised several steps above the ground to allow cooling lagoon breezes to flow beneath.

All villas offer an ocean view of varying degree. The 2 Absolute Beachfront Villas are exactly that – absolute beachfront and guests enjoy a wide-spectrum view from the spacious, furnished balcony. The Beachfront Villa is in staggered formation just behind the Absolute Beachfront Villas and guests enjoy a good view of the beach and ocean from the balcony framed by the 2 villas in front.  The Lagoonview Villa has been built in a staggered pattern behind the Beachfront Villa and guests in this villa still enjoy a partial ocean view from the balcony. Half of the view is of the Beachfront Villa in front and the other half of the view is of the ocean.   There is only approximately $75 per night difference in tariff between the Lagoonview Villa and the Absolute Beachfront Villas.

 The Lagoonview Villa:
Approximately 50 metres from the beach, the Lagoonview Villa features an open-plan main living/sleeping space on the ground floor and a loft bedroom accessed by fairly-steep stairs.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children.
Existing Bedding: 1 Super King Bed in the main living area and 2 Single Beds in the loft.
Additional Bedding: No additional bedding accommodated.

 The Beachfront Villa:
Approximately 25 metres from the beach and a similar design to the Lagoonview Villa with an open-plan main living/sleeping space on the ground floor and a loft bedroom accessed by fairly-steep stairs.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children.
Existing Bedding: 1 Super King Bed in the main living area and 2 Single Beds in the loft.
Additional Bedding: No additional bedding accommodated

 Absolute Beachfront Villas:
Step off your balcony on to the beach. One of the Absolute Beachfront Villas is the same design as the Lagoonview and the Beachfront Villas with a loft, the other does not have a loft or stairs inside, so all facilities are accommodated on a single level.
Maximum Occupancy: 4 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children.
Existing Bedding: 1 Super King Bed in the main living area and 2 Single Beds in the loft.
The second Absolute Beachfront Villa has a Super King Bed and 2 Single Divan Beds on the one level.
Additional Bedding: No additional bedding accommodated

Getting To and From Aitutaki Beach Villas
The owner/manager will normally meet incoming guests at Aitutaki Airport and provide a transfer to Aitutaki Beach Villas. On the way to the property, guests are taken on an orientation tour of Aitutaki which normally involves showing guests main points of interest and stopping at the grocery shop for supplies.  This is a great way to begin your stay.

When staying at Aitutaki Beach Villas it is an easy walk to both the Pacific Resort and Tamanu Beach and an easy cycle or drive to both the little town and the airport and everything else in between!  Rental vehicles can be in short supply at certain peak travel times so it may be worth considering hiring before you arrive - Our Specialists can easily handle this for you and include the cost in your package arrangements.

Kids’ Policy
Children are welcome at Aitutaki Beach Villas. 
 Little Kids Stay Free
Children aged under 6 years sharing a Villa with parents stay free.

Check-in/Check-out
Domestic flights between Rarotonga and Aitutaki are required and these will be included and costed in to package arrangements as required/agreed.
Standard check-in and check-out times at Aitutaki Beach Villas:
Check in time is 1:00pm
Check out time is 10:00am
Early Check-in and Late Check-out
Guests arriving/departing on flights which do not coincide with standard check-in and check-out times will not normally have access to their villa before or after the standard check-in/check-out times unless early check-in and/or late check-out has been agreed to in advance and paid for.
Early check-in may only be guaranteed by reserving and paying for accommodation for the night previous to arrival date.
Late check-out between 10:00am and 1:00pm, when available on the day of departure will be charged at 50% of the nightly rate for the villa occupied.
