Hi Liz

We had the best holiday we could of ever imagined.
The weather was sunny for one day, and cloudy/rainy for the balance, however that did not stop us from doing anything, it was so warm and the people at Tamanu at Autitaki were fabulous. We actually enjoyed the weather.  

We felt we were welcomed into their (Tamanu) family for the week, we were so fortunate to be entertained by Nick Henry the GM of Tamanu for the afternoon, and this went into the evening and followed with dinner. We would truly recommend Tamanu to everyone we know.  Nick also told us the story of the island, and how his granddad was the Prime Minister of Rarotonga  This truly is a magical place to visit. We wish we did not have to leave as I could of just stayed there forever, but our little one would of missed us as he stayed with his Nana.

Tamanu's service was 110%, the staff was always smiling, and nothing was ever a problem. The staff had received new uniforms during our stay and they all looked so smart. We stayed at Tamanu for 6 nights and on our 3rd night there was a little issue with the hot water,  we were moved to the stand alone ocean bungalow, honestly was like the honeymoon suite. The food was spectacular, the beach was beautiful and the snorkelling was out of this world, which we done many times each day during our stay.

We then went to Sunset Resort for 2 nights at Rarotonga on the way home.  When we arrived they had upgraded us to the beach front suite and this was a wonderful way to finish our holiday.
We are planning to return March 2017 as we need to go on the Vaka cruise, have heard this is fantastic and we can not wait!!
