AUGUST 2019

Bula Vinaka Lesley,

Thank you for all your assistance and advice in regards to our recent Fiji holiday. We really appreciated having you as our travel agent.

The quality of the a la carte offerings at the Paradise Cove Resort was exquisite. Fine dining! A perfect place to celebrate my birthday. We were very impressed at the consistently high fine dining restaurant quality and service. For your information and for your clients with children, our only challenge was the children’s dinner menu compared to the adults. The children have the option of going to an early children’s only buffet from 5.30pm - 6.30pm or waiting until 6.30pm to eat dinner with their parents. As we wanted to eat altogether, we had to wait until 6.30pm (which is a little on the late side for Kahanu). Adults were given a delicious 3 course a la carte menu to choose from which included an amuse bouche and palate cleanser and the children were only offered a 2 course a la carte menu of offerings such as fish and chips, pizza, pasta with parmesan. With our son, Kahanu being a wee gourmet with a very large appetite, we weren’t happy that he was on a different, limited menu. Hence why we upgraded Kahanu to an Adult menu plan. We feel this would be helpful information for your clients to have when booking.

We were also impressed with the administration and organisation of Paradise Cove Resort. Communication was better at Paradise Cove Resort.

Other than that, we found it very interesting to experience a different resort and at the same time, find it extremely hard to compare as Castaway Island, Fiji and Paradise Cove Resort have very different offerings, catering for a different and equally wonderful holiday experience. We enjoyed the more quiet and relaxed atmosphere at Paradise Cove Resort as well as snorkelling with the mantas which was a definite highlight (MAGICAL) and at the same time, loved the diverse offerings of activities eg. tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball and touch rugby of Castaway Island, Fiji.

We think next time, which may be a little while away, we might be up for a bit of island hopping to get the best of both worlds…or perhaps an additional new one.

Warmest wishes and much gratitude,
Karin
